Name: Alejandra Herrera
Source: Original
Appearance: Here
Personality:

Alejandra covers the basics when it comes to being a pirate: her morals are really screwed up, she likes to go treasure hunting, drinking as much alcohol as she can, and being free in the sea. One can pretty much say that Alejandra doesn't give a fuck about anything as long as it doesn't bother her directly. People are dying outside the ship? People die everyday, what's new about it? Did you touch the ship? You're dead meat. Every day is an adventure. Pretty much the basics of any pirate.

She likes to tease, laugh and mock everyone that she meets just for the Hell of it. At first sight, you will notice that she's a fearless woman dressed in men's clothing, ready to jump into the action before speaking and never regretting her actions. She's an excellent leader for a bunch of crazy as fuck pirates and she likes to be respected by them. It's part of her nature to be harsh to everyone and not feeling guilty for it. Let's face it, a cute girl wouldn't make it as the Captain of a crew.

Alejandra is a deceiver that most of the time only cares for herself. Once she has set her mind to get something, she will do anything to get it. And by anything, she really means it. She's not ashamed of her body, and she will not hesitate in using it to gain favors of the people. In fact, she has slept with many people like to really care about it. But don't think she does it all the time! Just only when necessary. There's always the power of intimidation to get what she wants too.

But there's more than what meets the eye for this girl. Behind that rude, arrogant part of her there is a girl who was once a Lady. Even if there isn't a single trace of her in these days, she came to accept that part of her. Family is really important for Alejandra (even if she left them to be a pirate), she can consider someone part of the family if she gets to know someone for a long time, and it's really a big step coming from her. She isn't used to getting attached to people so easily like others. Ironically, she started to get along with Lucifer just because all the time they spent together.

Alejandra doesn't trust people easily, she knows that at any moment they can stab you in the back for something bigger without hesitation. People lie and ignore others in order to get better things, and she knows this because she's someone that does the same everyday. When she doesn't like something, she makes it very clear by threatening that person or actually hunting their head.

She's doesn't act ladylike at all. Many years have passed since she was one, so all the girly stuff is just pointless for her now. This girl likes swords, getting into fights, drinking and behaving like a pirate , and she's really proud about it. For her, being free in a world where you are supposed to be chained to do what others tell you to do, is the best thing that could happen, and considering her time period, this is something important for her.

This girl here surely has a great willpower, which brings her good and bad things. She's determined to never give up, even in matters of power with Lucifer, and let's not forget, she's the captain.

Alejandra is definitly out of the normal. Things that are cute for her probably describes bizarre monsters that could kill someone in one strike. She really finds normal things to be boring, so she tends to dislike or ignore them. The same goes with people. She prefers to be friends of a Lamia because it's not something you see everyday.

She's a quick learner. Once she sets her mind to it, she will learn it pretty fast. She tends to go by the "act then think" philosophy, she may not be the smartest person in her crew, but she surely is one that thinks quickly in the situations.

Authority and Alejandra don't get along, mostly because Alejandra's ideas of freedom sometimes involve breaking the law, insulting he King and such things. Those are the people that she despises the most.

History:

Spain in its golden days. Normal people were taught that people like pirates were nothing but trash. The king was all they needed to worship and love, leaving all reasoning behind. Magic and witchcraft were nothing but the Devil's plan after all.

Guided by the light of God, seduced by the Devil's words, humans spent most of their days thinking they were the only ones in their universe, and no creature was stronger than them. And of course, only royalty were the ones with the most power of all.

Alejandra's family was one of those lucky ones. They were part of the noble society and served as the Marines of the King. Alejandra was taught as a child that her future was to marry another one of the nobility, have children and be a good wife. Things that she didn't like in the sightest. She spent her whole childhood trying to prove that she could be different.

But the old people didn't think the same.

She slowly started to develop a certain hatred towards chains and serious things. There were things that she wanted to do without having to think of the consequences, without having to do what she was told to do. She wanted to be free from rules.

That was the day she saw a pirate ship in the port, and she felt amazed for the first time in her life. The little girl always knew about pirates because it was her father's job to chase and punish them, but she had never seen one in her life. And damn, they surely knew how to live their life in an exciting way. Her blue eyes could see what true freedom was.

It was, without doubt, one of the days that changed her life completely.

Of course, things would never be easy for her. Being a pirate when you were a woman was something hard to achieve, and even more if she wanted to be the Captain her own ship and being taken seriously. The only way that she could think of was doing it with magic. If she was someone that people could fear and respect, then she would acquire a ship and a crew. And for that goal, she secretly did research all the nights to find the right sorcery that would help her in her request.

During that time, she learned how to write, read and the basics of the occultism. And all of it had to be done in secret since Spain was in his Inquisitor days. She had lady luck at her side since she was part of the nobles, so they wouldn't be able to bother her.

When she was eighteen, she was going to marry the man her parents chose for her. One of those brats with money and part of the same group Alejandra didn't tolerate at all. The day of her wedding, a bunch of pirates attacked the port causing a great disturb for the celebration. She took said chance to ran away from her home, leaving a letter behind for her parents.

"My apologizes, but from this day and now, do not search for me. I shall acquire the freedom that I always dreamed of. Father, please understand the desires in my heart. For this to become possible, I have borrowed some of your clothes, rapier and shotgun.

I do know that you wish the best for me, so if you must, inform the world that I have died escaping from the pirates. Worry not, I plan to keep in contact with you. But do not cross my path, that is all I beg to you.

Tell Mother that I love her, as I do love you, Father.

▬Alejandra."

Alejandra left her home that night. She kept running and running until she got lost in the outsides of the city, close to the ocean. She had some money that she could use to spend the night in a comfortable place, but she didn't do it. She wanted to experience something different, staying in a dangerous world. If she was not ready to endure the wild world in earth, she would never be able to endure it in the ocean.

She spent two weeks living in the wild forest. She had to do things that she never imagined to survive, she failed to hunt something, missed the shoots, wasted bullets for nothing. The woman was uncomfortable about everything, but at the same time she was excited about this new world in front of her. She lost track of time and the city, and soon she developed a new life style.

Around three months later, she found a crow in one of the threes she used to rest in. That picked up her interest, and she ended up following it until she found a small house closer to the ocean. At first she thought it was empty, so she entered without asking. Alejandra quickly found out that she was mistaken.

Inside the house, there was a man sitting in a chair. The whole decoration was a mix between black and white. Alejandra didn't lower her guard as she stepped closer and soon she knew that he was the man she was looking for. That was a Sorcerer that worked for the Devil in that world. His job was to grant a wish in exchange of a price.

That was the second day that changed her life completely.

Alejandra asked for power to become the Captain of a ship. The power to overcome any kind of situation that the world threw at her with more power. She already had the will, she just lacked the strength to do it. The Sorcerer explained that his job was to contact a demon and put it inside the body of the contractor, in exchange of their soul. She only needed to think in the name of the demon she was told to think and nothing else.

It was risky, but she accepted.

However, things didn't go as expected. Alejandra thought in the wrong demon when the man was working in his magic, and she ended with the wrong demon inside. Her brown hair had turned into bright red, her voice changed sightly and she could feel the magic going through her body as if it were hers. There was a lot of pain too and she closed her eyes.

The demon she was thinking in during the spell was Lucifer itself. The only demon that always killed their Host without hesitation. She was expecting the worst, yet she didn't show any sign of being afraid. It was reckless, she knew it, but she wanted to achieve her only dream. She would lose her soul and she was planning to make a contract with the Devil if it was necessary.

The first time Lucifer spoke in her head, the voice sounded calm and gentle. Alejandra didn't beg for her life, but she called out for a deal. She just wanted only one power, not everything else that came with him. She swore to only use one and never the others in exchange that he spent the time with her. Lucifer thought there was something different since it had been a while since he could enjoy something like this.

He granted her two abilities for free. But the others would consume her faster than before. And since he was out to play, he wanted to see her fighting all the new beasts that awakened with him. And Alejandra accepted the Deal. The two powers she gained were the enhanced strength beyond the human level and the ability to heal faster from any wound.

That's all she needed. With Lucifer inside her, she left the place in a storm to the port. Nobody would recognize her in the state she was anyway. It was time for the first strike of the pirate inside her. She needed a ship and a crew, and she knew where to find at least one of those. To prove that she was different, she wore her father's coat and pants. A big step up for what came later.

As soon as she arrived the port, she eyed the ships to find the one she liked the most. She found one that was close to what she wanted and proceeded to steal it like no one ever had tried. She grabbed it with her own hands, using her new powers and threw it to the sea with the people inside as well. The mere fact that she could lift a whole ship by herself was proof enough that she was no longer human.

She liked this freedom.

Alejandra ran to the ship before the officers could grab her. Smiling at them, she introduced herself as "El Demonio Rojo" (Red Demon) before leaving behind Spain. It was the first time in her life that she felt so excited about anything. She had to figure out something pretty quick before the people inside left the ship, scared because of her appearance.

Lucifer then whispered to her that she needed to intimidate them. And so she tried and failed, causing her to lose all the people inside. Without a crew, the ship wouldn't move and her dream would end right now. She thought about many ways and ignoring Lucifer's voice telling her to leave everything to him.

She was Alejandra Herrera and she was going to find a solution to it. Of course, her solution ended up included breaking a part of the ship and using it to row the ship. It was a tiresome job, but at least it helped to finally lose the Marines behind her. Now she only needed to find a crew that would do anything for her and a new ship since she had already broken this one twice.

Her life was never an easy one, but she liked it that way.

A month passed and she still couldn't find anyone for her crew. She was starting to feel really angry, only having Lucifer to talk to evey night in that ship, eating fish and drinking the water around to survive. At this rate, she was going to end up crazy, or crazier than she already was.

By chance, whatever was left of her ship arrived to a pirate island, and there was her chance.

When she entered the bar, she found herself hating the smell of dirty men, alcohol and sea, but she only needed some time to get used to it. The first thing she found out about was how many drinks they could drink before getting drunk and fighting against each other. It was something that made her heart race and feel like throwing up a bit. However, when they saw her, they started to treat her like a whore because of her pretty face.

Without realizing it, she was in the middle of a fight against the whole bar. Breaking chairs, windows, bottles, everything was fair in this battle. And for the first time in her life, she was having tons of fun. After some hours and enjoying her first drink, she overheard a conversation about the mystical ship called the Lamia's Tear that was guarded by the Kraken.

She wanted that ship. It was the only fitting ship for someone like her.

Sneaking around, she managed to hid in a ship and waited, learning about the pirate's lifestyle like she always wanted. She studied them for a long time, hiding outside the ship and eating the fish that were around. She was so close to achieving her dream that she had no place to be defeated here. She kept enduring and enduring, all while learning the code of the pirates.

That was how she found that there was a rule that allowed someone to challenge the Captain of the ship to a death match. The winner would be declared the new Captain and could claim the ship with its crew included. It was risky, because the crew could kill you if they trusted their captain enough, but Alejandra was going to try it anyway, since she had nothing to lose.

That night, when everyone was sleeping. She climbed the ship, sneaking to the Captain's room. She was no different from those men that would stab you in the back any moment, so she didn't feel guilty for what it could happen. She called out the code of the Pirates and requested the Death Match.

Soon all the crew was awake to witness it. A woman trying to defeat the Captain. They didn't bother to get ready to kill her just in case, if she somehow managed to win, they would just have fun with her. They never expected that Alejandra would swing her rapier so fast to actually disarm the other man. She couldn't show any hesitation in her next moves. She got hit, cut, and shoot by some of the men in the crew, but she kept running to their captain.

The definition of a true Demon.

Her scarlet hair was all the could see after she stabbed and killed the other man. Her wounds quickly healing before throwing that body to the sea. She turned to see the crew, her hands shaking a bit. It was the first time she killed someone, but no one was kind in this lifestyle, she came to learn that by her own experience. There were good people, but they needed to act tough no matter the situation.

That night, she became the new Captain of the ship, and she could finally rest on a bed. Her next goal was to meet up with the kraken and the Lamia's ship. During the next months, she learned how to be a good captain in her own way. She teased, drank, laughed and enjoyed this new lifestyle. She even experienced new things she could have never imagined.

She stole from her first ship, she slept with anyone she wanted, and killed anyone that called her a whore. She found about hidden treasures, other kind of monsters and the most feared pirates in the Spanish waters. Life just began for her. And she was ready to claim her ship to live it.

It was about time for her to defeat the Kraken.

Before she could notice it, she was close to the Lamia's island, but first she needed to fight the Kraken. The closer they came, the more scared her crew was. But not her. She ordered them to attack immediately after watching the first tentacle. She knew that the ship wouldn't last too much compared to the Kraken's strength.

That was the key.

Alejandra ordered her men to leave the place as soon as she jumped out to the water. She wanted someone to tell everyone the story of the Red Demon defeating the Kraken by herself, but without anyone else surviving it, it would be impossible. She called them insects and rats, but she really cared for those fools. The woman jumped to kick the raging sea monster in the head as soon as he raised from the water.

The ship started to move back as they were ordered and Alejandra started a rampage attack against the beast. She aimed for any spot she could hit, despite the fact that the water made it pretty hard for her. She could hear Lucifer's voice, but she didn't want to call him out. Not now. This was her story and she would make it all by her power enough.

The battle lasted a good hour, when she finally managed to break all the Kraken's arms with her bare hands. The creature had to leave the battle, leaving all its blood in the sea. Alejandra kept moving towards the island, fighting against the strong waves with only her determination and the annoying voice of the Devil in her head. Hours later, she reached the Island.

She quickly found the ship and the Lamias charged against her. Well, things were always hard for her. With her rapier and the shotgun, she fought until she recognized the the Captain of said ship. It couldn't hurt to try so she called out a Death Match. At first, they laughed so hard that she almost killed them. The Captain almost refused, but decided to crush her down in front of everyone else.

Things were different this time. She was sure that a whole bunch of Lamias would easily kill her while she was giving her back to them, so Alejandra had to think fast. She came out with a crazy idea. As soon as the match started, she quickly punched the ground to cause a small earthquake. That took the Lamias behind her off balance and she could charge at the Captain without trouble.

It was quite difficult to stab the snake woman because her tail kept getting in the way, after some minutes of struggling, she finally beheaded the Captain. Everyone was once more convinced that she was not human. In fact, the magical Lamias could feel the presence of the great Devil inside her. Since she really managed to prove herself as worthy to be the captain, that day was the day that Alejandra became the Captain of the Lamia's Tear.

That was how Alejandra finally got the ship she wanted and a crew full of Lamias. She worked with it for a few months, adding every single creature that she could find. The following months were filled with Alejandra's adventures of getting more people into her crew. Later she found out about the healed Kraken and made it her pet by force and the Lamia's power of conviction. She named it Ceniza.

Now it's where the adventure began for her.

Her first adventure involved getting a haunted chest from an undead army. She fought against them, destroyed the ship, acquired the treasure and used it to buy things for all the crew. She wrote a letter to her father to let him know that she was fine, but he already knew about it since everyone was talking about the Red Demon with the ship full of monsters.

The second adventure was about fighting a Medusa that was terrorizing the sea. That day she learned that not all the snakes were under her command. She lost one men and she flipped tables. People then knew why they were part of her crew. Someone that cared like that for them was not something you saw everyday in the sea. When they were done, they put the Medusa's head on the deck. Alejandra learned that her life was to be much shorter than the others', but decided to keep on living for the sake of the adventures.

The third adventure involved hunting down a pirate ship and its captain, a man of great influence in the pirate world. It was a great mess, which included taking sides, three epic battles and ended with a big fight against another demon just like her. Lucifer just kept trolling her to use his powers, but Alejandra still refused like a boss. Even it was hard, she managed to win and stole everything in that ship. She learned to work with incompetents and the joys of beating someone by your own hand. It was then that she decided to find a way to end the pointless fights against the demons.

Her finall adventure was about creating a magical portal to warp all the evil creatures back to Hell, or as many monsters they could since the world was slowly being destroyed. For that, they had to prepare a ritual. Her second in command and best friend, the Lamia Ellena, knew about the demon inside Alejandra, but if that was the will of the Captain, she had no reason to say anything.

Said ritual required a mermaid's blood, which was quite hard to get since they had to hunt one down. For this, she lured a mermaid by using herself as a bait and went in a melee fight against her, where her loyal pet, the kraken, helped her to behead the creature. And as much as she wanted, she decided against starting a fight against the Leviathan.

[ This is the timeline where I will be bringing her. The next is the rest of the history. ♥ ]

The ritual went all according to the plan, except for these annoying guardian monsters that they had to defeat. Alejandra's lifespan was running short, but she refused to use Lucifer's powers again. She lost many people of her crew in that fight, but she was determined to stop this. All those annoying demons didn't deserve to be in her waters, and she definitely didn't have the time to hunt them all one per one.

It was a hard battle. Probably the hardest battle she had in her life. For some reason, all her powers didn't work against them and she still refused to use Lucifer's powers to help. She had to admit that maybe this wasn't the best idea she had, but she somewhat felt resposible for what happened in her world.

But before she could say something, Lucifer used all his strength to seal them once more, leaving Alejandra's body. At first she didn't understand the reason of such act, but considering that the reason he was there was to get some fun outside Hell, she finally understood that it was time to go.

However, she felt something strange inside her body. It was as if she still had his powers. She tried lifting the dead body of one of the Lamias around and she was surprised that she could do it. The more she tried to understand, the less she sense she found in it.

Her next year, she spent it trying to contact Lucifer once more. She kept living with her crew and in any kind of adventure that she could get herself in, but she felt strange. Her red hair was still there as the proof of her magic still remained, but there was no demon behind it.

Five days later, after she decided to dive into the Dark Waters, she found a letter.

"You idiot. Stop wasting my time. Leviathan told me that you kicked his ass. When you die, I'll be waiting for you in Hell's door itself as a welcoming gift.

Don't waste my other gift. I left you my old, wasted angel powers. I don't need them.

Get out of my sight."

Calling out her Kraken, she raised from the water with a devil smirk. At least she didn't get to listen him complain for nothing. Ceniza led her to the ship, where she decided to rename it before continue her adventures.

She named it Lucifer's Angel.

It was only fitting for a demon.

Specific Abilities:

lejandra's abilities lie in her enhanced strength to points beyond rational. She's able to lift almost everything as long as she has the willpower to do it. It's one of the powers she got from Lucifer for free.

Her second power is her regeneration, allowing her to heal faster from wounds such as cuts, shots and broken bones. While it's not at a stupid level as some other mutants you might now (I'm not looking at you, Wolverine) she's able to survive some things that would normally kill someone. Another power she got from Lucifer for free.

The rest of her powers came directly from Lucifer himself and since her powers will be gone in Deme, listing them it's pointless. Lucifer will come here just to talk inside Alejandra.

Just that from the magical side. The rest she's just your normal, awesome pirate. She's able to drink great amounts of liquor, drunk fighting and be outside the norms.

Additional Information:

Can she keep the mermaid's head? She will treasure it forever!

Inverntory: Her clothes, a shotgun, a rapier, a kraken, a mermaid's head!

Sample Journal Post:

[ The first thing that you can see in this video is a big blue eye looking at the screen. It's then followed by someone trying to eat the device and finally being played with. Said owner does not know this might be recording. ]

Ya know, I'll give ya some credit. Never in my days of bein' a pirate I've heard 'f someone appearin' in 'nother place after slappin' a mermaid. [ The voice seems to be from a woman, who know drops the gear to the floor. From such awkward angle, you can see part of her body now. And the first thing that might come to your attention will be her bright, long red hair. ] Next time I'll try to remember 'at.

Let's all blame the pirate for beheadin' the mermaid 'nd gettin' lost, aye. Those rats better take care 'f my beloved Lamia or I'll cut some heads! [ She laughs a bit at that. Desite being alone, she seems to be talking to someone. ]

Don't think so, buddy. 'is ain't yar chance either. Go back to sleep 'nd leave everythin' to me. [ Oh, the device she dropped has a shiny light. ] Madre mía, is 'at some kind 'f sorcery? Well, we better find it out!

[ And yes, now that she's turning to the gears direction, you can see she has a mermaid's head in her hand. After some minutes the feed ends. ]

Sample Post :

Alejandra was never one really fond of temples and religious things, as she was very aware of the fact that they always caused trouble to anyone. Frankly, just looking at her was enough proof of that. The pirate sighed stressed at her new situation and decided to do what she did best: wandering alone in unknown territories to find something comfortable to sleep.

Her wet coat was a bit annoying to wear in the forest, but she had dealt with worse. She grabbed the mermaid's head tightly, not wanting to lose her precious treasure. It was a bit nostalgic the mere fact that she was walking and taking a stroll in the forest, like that time when she ran from her home.

"Ain't 'is so nice, really." She called out, talking to what one think is the dead mermaid with her. "Next time I cut yar head off, I'll remember ta brin' somethin' to drink in 'nother world." Alejandra stated with a smirk, it would be a lie to deny the fact that she really enjoyed the feeling of being in a new land.

She found herself reaching a lake, in which she did dive her head and called out for her pet. Who knows, maybe she was there. When she felt the lack of air, she pulled back and cursed her luck. It was a lie to say that she was happy about losing her Kraken.

"Sure, put me in 'is world without my pet but the asshole inside me still remains! Ya all can suck the royal cock 'f the king for what I care now, aye."

She was serious. She really wanted her Kraken with her.
